Our bird boarding area is located in a separate section of the animal hospital. All birds are required to have a physical exam completed by one of our Veterinarians before boarding at our facility. Please call ahead to schedule a physical as this must be completed prior to the bird's scheduled boarding date. This is for your bird's protection as well as for the protection of all other birds boarding in our boarding area. If your bird is already an existing patient, we do require that a physical exam has been performed within the last 12 months.
We have cages that suit any size bird from finches to macaws. Owners are welcome to bring their own cage as well, if their bird prefers to board in a familiar setting.
Note: We do not supply toys for boarding birds, however bird toys are available for purchase. You are also welcome to bring any toys with you when boarding your bird.
We offer several different brands of pellets, as well as seed, fruits, vegetables, Lafebers "Nutriberries" and cooked "Crazy Corn". If your bird is used to eating a certain brand, please check with us when scheduling your boarding reservation to verify we do carry that brand. You may want to bring your bird's existing diet, if we do not carry it.
Reservations are required, so please call ahead to check for availability on the date requested.
